Anatomical Heart Plastic Charm

Yesterday I shared a crafty tutorial by Tera Callihan on how to make some grungy Halloween tags.  On the top of one of the tags there was small plastic embellishment created with the Anatomical Heart stamp.  Today, I'm going to show you how Tera created the heart charm.

Stamp the Anatomical Heart on some shrink plastic (you can find this at most any local craft store). You must use a permanent ink - Stazon or Archival.

Next, cut the heart out as close to the stamped image as you feel comfortable, but be sure to leave room at the top to make a place to hook a ring through.  Then punch a hole.

Here you see the size before it's shrunk (don't panic!)

You can also see what I  mean with the ring.

Shrink your heart.

But before you shrink your heart, be sure to remove the metal ring.

Use alcohol inks to distress your heart to get your desired look.

Now, add your charm ring and attach it to the top of the tag!

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, for the full tag tutorial you can see this post.

Thanks for stopping by.
