Winter Wonderland Artist Trading Block

We've been hopping along with team ATB all month, and this is the final tower from the 100 Proof Press design team.  I will have a follow up post sharing the towers from team ATB and you do not want to miss those!  I created this block tower around one of my favorite stamps, The Queen of the Stars.  Enjoy!

The first thing I did to create this tower was to paint the edges of all the block pieces. Then I put the blocks together.  Then I added a layer of tulle.  On a piece of vintage paper I embossed blue snowflakes and ripped the paper to size for each block and adhered it to each block face. Then I went around the edge of each block with a thin line of glue and added some glitter.

On on a piece of white card stock I stamped the Queen of stars, the Owl Queen, the moon, and the Owl and baby.  Then I painted them with water colors and cut them out.  Added a little glitter here and there for some glistening magic.

I used some permanent ink to stamp "warm winter wishes" onto some fabric tape.  Then I added some the charms and embellishments.

On the top I planted a cute little blue tree and some fungus.  I had some wired stars that I stuck in the blocks and glued the moon and dangled the Queen. I enjoyed crafting with these blocks - and I thank you for stopping by my winter wonderland today!
