It's Canning & Stamping Time
It's that time of year when if you grow tomomatoes you have more fruits then you know what to do with. We have been slicing and dicing and canning salsa, salsa, and more salsa. Design team member, Alexa Lett, knew just what to do with the mason jar stamp. This is a mixed media piece is designed around the jar that incorporates a lovely vintage-handmade feel. I like the way she used the old pages of a book for a canvas, and the free-motion stitching ties it all together. And of course, you have to love the little heart in the jar - what would you put in mason jar?

My dad can't stop wondering why it's called canning, and not jarring. Anyone?
