In
person this looks just like a colored woodcut block, it's really
a cool medium. The rooster was stamped on clay board--long used
by artists. It is now selling in small pieces and companies are
calling it StampBord. The rooster was stamped on the cut-to-size
StampBord, then colored in with inks. After it was dry, a scratch
tool was used to scratch off spots of color here and there, exposing
the original white of the clay board.
